OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd was established to provide internationally recognized workforce training to meet global industry demand for tradecraft skills. OGM aims to create and supply, “work ready” trainees who meet immediate industry requirements in India and worldwide.

Building from the significant success of Nasser S. Al Hajri Corporation (NSH) in the Middle East and under the vision and guidance of Dr Ravi Pillai, OGM was established in Perth, Australia in April 2012. Discussions were crystallized with assistance provided by the Australian High Commission in India. Significant work was undertaken to introduce, establish and develop pathways for Australian training with requirements matched to meet the workforce shortfalls of global resource, construction and energy industries.

OGM Technical Institute delivers Australian trade skills vocational training through accredited trainers contextualized to local industry needs at low cost enabling higher volumes of trainee graduates. Our key objective is to deliver hands on trade skills training to globally certified standards combining in class, and intern on-site training that produce proven ‘work ready’ trainee graduates.

Established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1978 as an industrial construction service provider, NSH has become a leading player over three decades in the areas of Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers, Cement, Power, Desalination, Aluminium and Steel Industries.

NSH is the largest single employer of Indian nationals outside of India, employing a workforce of more than 70,000 people with strong retention rates.

NSH is the first Saudi Arabia based construction company to obtain the TUV NORD Certification for Occupational Health & Safety Assessment (OHSAS 18001) followed by NSH also obtaining the ISO 9001 accredited Quality Management System. Exxon Mobil Development Company (EMDC) recognised NSH with an award as their safest global construction contractor through a worldwide evaluation for the year 2009.

Training sharpens sensibilities and makes one more conducive to the needs of working environments. OGM Technical Institute, established in Australia under the auspices of Nasser S. Al Hajri Corporation (NSH) of the Middle East seeks to continually produce workers with job skills to meet industry skill shortages.

OGM Technical Institute focuses on training work ready graduates to fit employer needs. To achieve this goal we have tied up with Australian training partners providing end-to-end solutions for companies seeking accredited skilled workers.

The range of OGM business models, I am sure will deliver solutions in training and workforce management that will increase skills which in turn will support international industry needs.

It is with pleasure and excitement that we established OGM Technical Institute linking work ready graduates to meet global industry skill shortages and employer needs.

OGM Technical Institute together with our Australian training partners provide end-to-end solutions for companies seeking genuine skilled workers.

Australian TAFE training capability is acknowledged globally and OGM Technical Institute recognising this have created partnerships with TAFE institutions to deliver skills training in India and internationally that grow market opportunities aligned to meeting work force needs.

Through these business models we are seeking to deliver solutions in training and workforce management that will increase skills, and positively promote OGM workforce solutions internationally.

Meet The Team

Peter Linford

CEO - OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd

Prior to joining the RP Group of companies in 2012 as CEO of OGM, Peter held senior positions as an Australian Diplomat for fifteen years including as Minister Commercial in the Australian High Commission in New Delhi India covering trade and investment strategy across South Asia, as Australian Consul General Dubai and Senior Trade Commissioner Middle East and North Africa, and as Minister Commercial in the Australian Embassy in Seoul Korea, as well as multiple senior trade and investment roles in Japan.

Peter is passionate about global linkages of people and through his extensive business expertise has focused this into the area of skills and people development in both developed and developing markets.

Peter sees his role as identifying and nurturing opportunities amongst different countries, cultures and languages through business to deliver win win outcomes for workers as well as for industry. Peter see’s genuine skills training as an ideal way to help all people of all countries.
Peter studied Economics and marketing at University and is a fluent Japanese language speaker.

Aminur Rahman

General Manager International - OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd.

Prior to joining OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd in 2012 as GM International, Aminur held a number of positions as an Australian Trade Diplomat for fifteen years including as Consul General in the Australian Consulate General in Chennai India covering trade and investment strategy across South India, as the Australian Senior Trade Commissioner Egypt and Libya, as well as multiple trade and investment roles in Dubai and Bangladesh.
Aminur is passionate about changing the lives of people in the developing markets and has joined the team at OGM, so that he can use his skills, expertise and network to roll-out the OGM model in collaboration with our partners on the ground to achieve this.
Aminur studied Business Administration at University and can speak South Asian languages quite fluently.

Supreet Khosla

Country Manager India - OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd

Prior to joining OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd in 2014, Supreet worked with the Australian Trade Commission in New Delhi as a Business Development Manager. Her role at Austrade focussed on finding avenues for Australian businesses to grow internationally and facilitate productive FDI into Australia.

Supreet comes from a rich Customer Service background having worked with MNCs like the American Express and ISI Emerging Markets (A Euromoney Group Company) in the past. She enjoys working with diverse cultures and nationalities.

Supreet believes in empowering the youth especially women in India by providing them pathways to real education and skill development. She strongly feels that ‘global needs’ need to be met through ‘global supply’ of skilled workforce.

Supreet studied Economics at University and is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.

Amandeep Singh Bhandari

Technical Quality Manager - OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd.

Prior to joining OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd in 2014, Amandeep worked in sectors ranging from manufacturing to education holding positions of an Engineer to Head of Department. Amandeep has also worked with Bharat Electronics Limited, under Ministry of Defence, Government of India as an Electronics Engineer. His rich experience brings strong technical, course development and auditing skills to the OGM Team

Amandeep believes that through his role in OGM he would be able to help the youth to grow and develop through skills training. He sees genuine skill training as an ideal pathway to a trained workforce within India and internationally.

Amandeep is a research scholar in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He is also a Cert IV Australian trainer and is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi
