About the project : The Jazan IGCC gasification contract is a major project commencing from February 2015 through to the last quarter of 2017 and with an anticipated peak workforce requirement of 11,000. There will be significant recruitment opportunities for skilled worker graduates of OGM for this project and others from 2015 in the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait.

About the project : RP Global has ambitious plans for the Dubai real estate market, with US$ 1.5 billion being invested to launch two signature projects, in Business Bay and on Sheikh Zayed Road. The first project is a 50-storey residential tower in Dubai, which will be launched at the end of 2014. The second project, to be launched end of Q1 2015, will mixed-use development featuring a 5-star hotel, serviced apartment and high-end retail.

Peter Linford

Prior to joining the RP Group of companies in 2012 as CEO of OGM, Peter held senior positions as an Australian Diplomat for fifteen years including as Minister Commercial in the Australian High Commission in New Delhi India covering trade and investment strategy across South Asia, as Australian Consul General Dubai and Senior Trade Commissioner Middle East and North Africa, and as Minister Commercial in the Australian Embassy in Seoul Korea, as well as multiple senior trade and investment roles in Japan.

 

Peter is passionate about global linkages of people and through his extensive business expertise has focused this into the area of skills and people development in both developed and developing markets.

 

Peter sees his role as identifying and nurturing opportunities amongst different countries, cultures and languages through business to deliver win-win outcomes for workers as well as for industry.

 

Peter holds a Masters of International Trade & Diplomacy (High Distinction) from Monash University and is a fluent Japanese language speaker.
