Training sharpens sensibilities and makes one more conducive to the needs of working environments. OGM Technical Institute, established under the auspices of the RP Group seeks to continually produce workers with job skills to meet industry skill shortages.

 

OGM Technical Institute focuses on training and placement of work ready graduates to fit employer needs providing end-to-end solutions for companies seeking accredited skilled workers. This delivers solutions to increase skills which in turn supports employer and industry needs. On behalf of OGM Technical Institute, I take this opportunity to welcome prospective job ready aspirants to line up with us and enjoy the four-decade long experience of RPG now linked with training expertise.

CEO’s message – Peter Linford

It was with pleasure that we established OGM Technical Institute in 2012 linking work ready graduates to meet skill shortages and employer needs. OGM Technical Institute together with our training partners have since provided end-to-end solutions for companies seeking genuine skilled workers graduating more than 15,000 trainees and achieving a 90% job placement rate.

 

Australian training capability is acknowledged globally and recognising this, OGM has created partnerships to deliver skills training in India, the GCC, and more recently to Australia that has grown market opportunities aligned to meeting work force needs.  It is an exciting space that provides opportunities for workers and employers.

Peter Linford

Prior to joining the RP Group of companies in 2012 as CEO of OGM, Peter held senior positions as an Australian Diplomat for fifteen years including as Minister Commercial in the Australian High Commission in New Delhi India covering trade and investment strategy across South Asia, as Australian Consul General Dubai and Senior Trade Commissioner Middle East and North Africa, and as Minister Commercial in the Australian Embassy in Seoul Korea, as well as multiple senior trade and investment roles in Japan.

 

Peter is passionate about global linkages of people and through his extensive business expertise has focused this into the area of skills and people development in both developed and developing markets.

 

Peter sees his role as identifying and nurturing opportunities amongst different countries, cultures and languages through business to deliver win-win outcomes for workers as well as for industry.

 

Peter holds a Masters of International Trade & Diplomacy (High Distinction) from Monash University and is a fluent Japanese language speaker.

Aminur Rahman

Prior to joining OGM Technical Institute Pty Ltd in 2012 as GM International, Aminur held a number of positions as an Australian Trade Diplomat over fifteen years including as Consul General in Chennai India covering trade and investment strategy across South India, and as the Senior Trade Commissioner Egypt and Libya based in the Australian Embassy in Cairo.


Aminur is passionate about changing the lives of people in the developing markets and joined the team at OGM to use his skills, expertise and network to roll-out the OGM model in collaboration with our partners in India, Saudi Arabia and this year in Bahrain.


In his role for OGM, he has successfully completed the International Skills Training programs conducted in India and is qualified to deliver and supervise the IST Training and Assessment programs, TVETC001 and TVETC002 under the quality management of an Australian Registered Training Organisation.


Aminur holds a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from Australia and has successfully completed the Master Trainer course from NCCER (US) plus can speak a few South Asian languages quite fluently.

Supreet Khosla
Passionate about creating positive impact, Supreet brings in 16 years of collective experience across the corporate and social sector. She brings in extensive experience of working with global teams, international collaborations, developing market entry strategies, project management, advisory & training services, business expansion and building extensive networks. Supreet supported the set-up and expansion of OGM Technical Institute India Pvt. Ltd along with the CEO from 2014 – 2017. She now supports OGM as a consultant for the healthcare portfolio. . Supreet holds a post graduate degree from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex, UK in Globalisation, Business and Development.
Vincy Christhom

Mr. Angelo Vincy Christhom has transferred to OGM India, from parent company NSH in Saudi Arabia with extensive Gulf working experience over the past five years. His last role was as the E&I Project Manager at the Saudi Aramco Fadhili Gas Project in Saudi Arabia. His role as the Country Manager, is to Manage the total operation of OGM India. In addition, he will conduct audits of OGM partners in India to ensure they meet NSH standards. This role will ensure trainees are skilled to levels required for overseas placements and provide our partners in India with guidance that will enhance the quality of the training being delivered.


Mr. Christhom believes that through his role in OGM, he would be able to identify the training and development needs within the organisation, design and expand training and development programmes in these areas based on the needs of the industries, amend and revise programmes as necessary in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment Christhom has a Master degree in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and also a Master’s degree in Human resource management. Additionally has successfully completed the Trainer part of the Australian TVET course. Vincy is fluent in English, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.

Divya Ravi

Ms. Divya is part of the administrative team at OGM. Her responsibilities include maintaining and updating candidate information on the company’s web portal and maintaining departure of candidates. She has found the process of reviewing and verifying candidates to be very important, as it ensures that only qualified and suitable candidates are selected. Arranging and coordinating interviews is also a crucial part of her role as it helps to identify the best candidates. Divya  has a bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology and is fluent in English and Tamil.
